Introduction

All industrial systems are tied to geographic locations. Therefore collecting information and data organized by place is fundamental to accomplishing CAPSI goals. The ability of stakeholders and the public to connect with an industrial system such as rail transportation as it evolves and lives in a place is a critical and useful way to understand value and progress.

CAPSI Geographic Planning Regions are local, corridor, state/province, regional/multi-state, national, and continental. This is our lead page for designing and managing Geographic Information Systems within CAPSI.

Goals

  • CAPSI will supply tools that support GIS visualization of critical information layered on place.
